Free Harry

Free Harry was known as a poet, hobo and alcoholic anonymous. He began his career as a prisoner but quickly switched to a poet career. He came to the U.S. in 1976 ostensibly to see McDonalds, but he remained for six years, then traveled to Mexico to study. In 1985 he came back to the U.S. and has written his first book, "The Stone Age with Merv Griffin", which was soon followed by the Ballads of Whisky With Ice.
I met her in the Stone Age with Merv Griffin;
I can still recall that burlap bra she wore;
She was drinkin' Dr. Pepper on her elbows,
and I knew that I would upchuck on the floor;
Her rabbi said I'd change my sex forever;
She said to me she couldn't stand my tie;
But who'd have thought she'd turn green while in labor;
I pushed her off the bridge and waved goodbye.
These were the first gift books produced in this country, and they marked an era in the history of book making. In 1989 he made an extended tour of the United States to gather material to be used for lyrics for his landmark book, America of Alcoholics Anonymous (edited by George W. Bush), a book which was published in 1992.
I met her in Sheboygan all hunched over;
I can still recall that little hat she wore;
She was slurpin' up linguini on her elbows,
and I knew I'd never rate her more than '4';
A Klingon said I'd have my rash forever;
She said to me she loved my one blue eye;
But who'd have thought she'd grovel in her Maytag;
I never had the chance to say goodbye.
He traveled to Europe in 1984 to make lyrics for Homeless Europe and subsequently spent two winters under the paris bridge. The publication of these books won him fame. He returned to the U.S. in 1986 and kept a studio in Harlem.
I met her in a gay bar dead all over;
I can still recall those training pants she wore;
She was drownin' in the quicksand in her muu-muu,
and I knew it was a raven, nothing more;
I promised her I'd change my sex forever;
She said to me she liked 'Spy vs. Spy';
But who'd have thought she'd yodel in my Edsel;
You'd think at least that she'd have said goodbye.
Later in life, Free Harry concentrated on alcohol. He was a member of the New York Club of Alcoholics Anonymous, the Society of Homeless, New York Strip Clubs, and was a founder of the American Whisky Society. He was at the National Academy of Swill in 1999 and at various times under the Brooklyn Bridge between 1999 and 2003. He showing off hobos in Chicago in 2003 where he beat shit out homeless.

Where Harry now? Don't fucking care!
